  Schedule Notes: The tech on duty typically takes call starting at 07:00 PM the night before their 3-12hr shifts and the 2 nights following, they do not take call the last 12-hour shift. So, 3 nights call and 3x12-hr shifts. -

  Description:
  The lab is open every day 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM -
  
  Cerner is EMR, any color scrubs. -
  The ideal candidate will perform laboratory tests and analyses to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. -
  This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to laboratory protocols and safety standards.
  Blood bank experience is a plus
  Looking for someone with string experience and ok working alone on unit.
  May be asked to train other travelers.
  No -first time travelers, must be a seasoned traveler. -
  
  Essential Job Responsibilities:
  Adheres to Universal Precautions standards. -
  Understand and comply with policies and procedures. -
  Dependability & Responsibility attendance, punctuality, follows instructions. -
  Venipuncture skill. -
  Performs Daily Quality Control & Daily Maintenance per guidelines. -
  
  Completes testing in a timely, concise manner. -
  Operation and Troubleshooting of Chemistry Analyzers. -
  Operation and Troubleshooting UA Analyzer. -
  Operation and Troubleshooting Hematology Analyzer. -
  Operation and Troubleshooting Coag Analyzer. -
  Blood Bank Testing (type, RH, Antibody Screening, compatibility testing, QC), Courtesy and Professional Conduct (patients, lab staff, physicians, other employees). -
  Misc. Testing (serological/micro testing, microscopic, etc.). -
  Communication (shares important information with co-workers, supervisor, fellow employees, physicians). -
  Overall Quality of Performance and Conduct

  Qualifications:
  Education:
  Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field
  Completion of an accredited MLT program

  Licensing/Certification:
  Active Arkansas state MLT license or eligibility to obtain
  American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  Experience:
